OnePlus Showcases Yet Another Excellent Image Taken By The OnePlus 5

It seems like OnePlus is about to get the hype up for the launch of their OnePlus 5. OnePlus’s Carl Pei has just released yet another image taken by the OnePlus 5 showcasing a monochrome image capturing some second to none highlights.

Taken off of Twitter, we decided to take a look at how good the OnePlus 5’s camera is. Despite being a monochrome shot, the image is rather impressive. The resolution of the picture measures in at 1024 x 1024 and is no surprise that the picture comes in such a limited number of pixels since it was first uploaded on Instagram.

Being shot in daylight there’s a few details that make this shot rather impressing. Zooming in onto the windows of the building, we could see some great details despite being a 1024 x 1024 shot. We could partly credit this to the amount of light available when the shot was taken. However, the billboard next to it also seems to have some great amount of detail to it. That’s what makes this so much more impressive.

And making up for so much of the detail after being compressed and cropped online really degrades a considerable amount of quality.

It seems like OnePlus could have done quite an amount of optimization to the camera as well. There isn’t much time left for OnePlus to officially reveal the OnePlus 5 in its full glory on the 22nd of June, 2017.
