Translucent controllers have been one of the most exciting things for enthusiast gamers. I remember from the Gameboy days when Nintendo released their Gameboy SPs in translucent colors. The striking joy of having a look at the internals feels super special to myself and many other gamers. With the translucent enthusiasm still remaining high among many fans, Sony has just announced new DualShock 4 controllers that come in three translucent colors.

Unfortunately, these new controllers will only be available in the US and Canada. However, users would still be able to get their hands on these if they are really enthusiastic and are willing to import it from North America. Well, let’s add these to the collection of custom controllers Sony has released so far. Afterall, driving the enthusiasm is what’s best for them and gamers.
