Xiaomi needs no introduction in the Android community. Their excellent budget devices and flagships are often well-received and are often rated to rank among the big boys of the smartphone market.
One of the key areas where Xiaomi always succeeds is with their budget offerings. The company has a number of offerings categorized pretty well into tiers. Their Mi Max lineup has always been an excellent option of consumers who love large, yet speedy devices for budget prices. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 was a huge hit for Xiaomi. Thanks to its decent, yet speedy internals and excellent camera, the device made its mark showcasing what Xiaomi has to offer for the tablet-savvy consumer.
To succeed last year’s Mi Max 2, leaks suggest that the Mi Max 3 is coming soon. Leaked by a user at Weibo, the Xiaomi Max 3 Pro would pack a Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6.9-inch Full HD+ Display, upto 6GB of RAM and upto 128GB of internal storage. What’s impressive is the fact that the device also packs a huge 5400mAh battery and a flagship-level camera sensor, the Sony IMX 363.
Regarding pricing, there’s no news on that yet. However, considering Xiaomi’s history of pricing their Mi Max series of devices, I would say that this device, the Mi Max 3 Pro, should be priced at around $299. Given the specs for what Xiaomi is offering along with its AI capabilities, I think that the Mi Max 3 Pro would be a killer device for anyone who enjoys large displays and some cheesy specs.
So far, there’s no official word from Xiaomi. However, we should see the device being launched along with a standard variant sooner or later next month.
