Xiaomi’s Redmi Note series has been a staple in Xiaomi’s lineup of devices. The Redmi Note series from Xiaomi has always offered a killer experience with the aim to showcase what Xiaomi has in store for its enthusiasts thing time around.
After the widely successful run of the Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro, details regarding the successor to the Redmi Note 5 Pro are emerging, suggesting the Xiaomi could be prepping the device for its launch later this year or at the beginning of 2019.
Details regarding the Redmi Note 6 include a 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB variant, similar to last year’s Note 5 as well as a typical price tag of about €200 and €249 respectively. The device is also said to launch in three color variants. Reports indicate that the Redmi Note 6 Pro would come in blue, black and gold.
What’s disturbing about these reports is that there’s no word on what SoC the Redmi Note 6 is expected to sport. Sure, the Snapdragon 710 would be sweet and all, but we’ll have to wait for more leaks and details to emerge until Xiaomi finally announces in within the next few months and start to consider how ungenerous 3 Gigabytes of RAM seem in 2018. All we could do for now is to stick with the leaks as typically Xiaomi announces the successors to their Redmi Note series of devices in January/February.
