Halo Championship Series 2021- All Qualified Teams and the Pools in Kickoff Major

In Raleigh, North Carolina, the Halo Championship 2021: Kickoff Major begins today. North American, European, and Oceanian teams compete for a $250,000 prize fund in the competition.

The highly anticipated next-generation entry for the renowned first-person arcade-shooter franchise, Halo Infinite, was recently launched. Due to its well-balanced gameplay and fast-paced combat, the title has taken over the world by storm.

The game’s free-to-play nature, as well as its simultaneous release on the Pc and the Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One, has allowed more people to join in.

Halo Infinite Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major Playoff

This year’s tournament kicks off with a bang. Each of the four pools has a total of 16 teams in it. For each pool, the top two teams from that pool will advance to Round 2, while the worst two teams will be relegated to Round 1.

  • Chiefs Esports Club – Oceania Qualifier
  • Kansas City Pioneers – North America HCS Points
  • OpTic Gaming – North America Qualifier

Pool B

  • Divine Mind – Replacement HCS Points (ANZ)
  • FaZe Clan – North America Qualifier
  • G2 Esports – North America HCS Points
  • Natus Vincere – Europe HCS Points

Pool C

  • eUnited – North America Qualifier
  • Oxygen Esports – North America HCS Points
  • Quadrant – Europe Qualifier
  • The Boys – Replacement HCS Points (EU)

Pool D

  • Acend – Europe Qualifier
  • Cloud9 – North America HCS Points
  • Spacestation Gaming – Replacement HCS Points (NA)
  • XSET – Replacement HCS Points (Sentinels)

The championship that began on December 17, is slated to end two days after on December 19. Halo esports will stream all of the matches simultaneously on both the Twitch and YouTube channels.

After the Pool Play and Open Bracket stages, 32 teams advanced for the playoff round of the Halo Championship Series 2021: Kickoff Major. Open Bracket’s bottom eight teams were paired with Pool Play’s bottom eight teams in Lower Bracket – round 1. By their performance in Pool Play, the top 8 groups advance directly to the second round of the upper bracket.
