Only a few details are known regarding the Hogwarts Legacy, like when we may enter the prestigious school of magic or put it in simple terms, its release date. With the limited info we have, we may infer that this game is an action RPG based in the late 1800s, a while before Harry Potter and the gang was there.
Recent Developments And Release Date
Despite previous claims, the formal Wizarding World webpage has said that the title will be released later this year. One source, on the other hand, believes it will happen in September.
AccountNGT has been a reputable source for Quantic Dream information. The week before the unveiling of Star Wars Eclipse at the Game Awards, they had released a picture from the game, thus they appear to have an inside leaker.
They just informed their fans through Twitter that the game would premiere in September. According to the tweet-
“On Hogwarts Legacy, because some people have asked about that, expect a September release, next trailer based on skills/abilities in February / March (PlayStation event in any case).”
With just a few details available, we can wait until March to see whether AccountNGT is even partially right or completely wrong. If that’s the case, the trailer they spoke about is likely to disclose the release date.
Hogwarts Legacy hasn’t had much going on lately. Aside from the teaser, the only other piece of information we’ve received is a throwaway tweet that doesn’t tell anything. In turn, this sparked a flurry of speculation regarding the game’s release and production. On the Sacred Symbols podcast, Colin Moriarty discussed one.
In Moriarty’s words, the project “is in some type of trouble” and “isn’t releasing this year.” But the Wizarding World’s recent blog indicated that it would be released this year, together with the highly anticipated Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore in April as well as the Fantastic Beasts: A Natural History documentary.
Hogwarts Legacy Plot
The Wizarding World describes Hogwarts Legacy as “from mastering strong spells and crafting potions to honing fighting skills and raising magical monsters.” For the first time, gamers will be able to witness the magical realm as a scholar at Hogwarts as they decide the destiny of the whole wizarding world.
The official description of the game reads-
“Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. You have received a late acceptance to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and soon discover that you are no ordinary student: you possess an unusual ability to perceive and master Ancient Magic.
