The new picture is based on the popular 1883 Italian novel of the same name, as well as the 1940 Disney film of the same name.
The plot is around a wooden puppet who, after being transformed into a real boy by the Blue Fairy’s enchantment, seeks to be truthful. The audience is ecstatic after watching the Pinocchio teaser video, which features none other than the renowned Tom Hanks himself.

Tom Hanks is a well-known actor. Tom Hanks’ first glance as Geppeto from Pinocchio has already piqued the interest of moviegoers. Did you know that his first trailer for the film was released in March of this year? Geppeto, a childless woodworker in dire need of a kid, is played by the actor. In terms of the picture itself, it was directed by Robert Zemeckis, with whom Hanks previously collaborated in the 1994 film The Forrest Gump. Gordon-Levitt is said to be Jiminy Cricket’s voice actor, while Erivo is the Blue Fairy. Sofia the Seagull is a new character played by Bracco, while Luke Evans is the Coachman.
On September 8, 2022, Pinocchio will make his global debut on Disney+. Notably, Disney+ is preparing for a slew of live-action remakes, including The Little Mermaid, which is due to hit theatres on May 26, 2023; and Peter Pan & Wendy, which will follow in the footsteps of Pinocchio and will be a Disney+ exclusive release.
