It hasn’t been too long since Xiaomi released the Mi MIX. Indeed Xiaomi did what the consumers were always dreaming of. Hugo Barra mentioned that they wanted the communities dreams to come true. We saw bezel-less leaks of smartphones for years. Finally when Xiaomi struck, they weren’t available everywhere.
Xiaomi launched two versions at the launch of the MIX, with one packing 6GB of RAM and a lower 4GB variant. Later on, Xiaomi unveiled the white variant of the MIX which packed the same Snapdragon 821, 4GB of RAM, 128GB of Internal storage and that iconic 6.4-inch.
As soon as the first wave MIX launched, the white premium variant instantly sold out on Xiaomi China’s official store, as GamerSky reports. Until now, there is no news when Xiaomi will release the second batch of the Xiaomi MIX until this moment. What impresses me is how many people were enthusiastic for the white variant.
At the moment, the lower tier variant of the MIX is available online for CNY 3499, which is approximately MYR RM 2299 / $508 which isn’t a steep price to ask for. But if I were you and I had access to Xiaomi’s lineup, I’d wait for the second wave to arrive.
