The Xbox One was released by Microsoft back in November 2013. The Xbox One is the successor of the legendary Xbox 360 and it is the competitor of the Sony PlayStation 4 and Nintendo’s Wii U. The slim model of the Xbox One, called the Xbox One S, is coming next month. With the new console coming, the price of Xbox One has started to drop.
Xbox One Price Officially Dropped to $249
This is the third time that Microsoft is dropping the price of the Xbox One in time-span of about two months. You can now get a brand new Xbox One for $249 now. This also includes Xbox One with games such as Forza Motorsport 6, Rise of The Tomb Raider, and much more.

Major retailers like Amazon and Ebay will be selling the console with a price tag of $249. Also, previous price-cuts had end dates but this one doesn’t. This is a clear sign that Microsoft is trying to sell-out the Xbox One supplies before the arrival of the Xbox One S.
The top dog from Microsoft, codenamed Project Scorpio, is coming next year. So Microsoft may stop manufacturing the Xbox One and just carry on with the Xbox One S and the Scorpio.
