PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Joins Steam’s Top 3 As It Surpasses 339K~ Peak Players

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is proving to be a successful game for Bluehole Studio. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was launched this year. Since its launch in March 2017, the game has sold over 4 million copies. That’s only accounting for PC sales. At E3 2017, Bluehole Studio took their success to a whole new level by announcing that the game would be coming to the Xbox One X as well.

Being a top-dog on Twitch as well as Steam, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is showing no signs of slowing down so far. SteamCharts, a Steam stats tracker reported that over 338,941 players were active today.

That’s really close Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s active player base. That’s right after Dota 2 and CS:GO which is really impressive for a game on a single platform. Who knows what the situation would be when the game launches on the Xbox One and how well Bluehole utilizes the power of the Xbox One X. Indeed an excellent game
