Samsung might not be the first brand that comes to mind when you’re hunting for a gaming notebook. However, their timely releases definitely have some punch to them.
Recently, the folks over at Samsung have announced their new Odyssey Z Gaming Notebook that packs a decent punch in a thin body. Not only has Nvidia managed to help shred the weight of laptops, but they’ve also allowed their desktop versions of GPUs to make their way in such sleek laptops.
The Odyssey Z Gaming Notebook packs an 8th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, a 6GB GTX 1060 and a 1TB NVMe SSD. For those who are always on the go, the Odyssey Z Gaming Notebook is an excellent choice if you’re on the hunt. However, for gamers wo want to game competitively, the Odyssey Z Gaming Notebook does not come with a 144Hz display.
Samsung says that the availability of the notebook would be limited and would launch a specific set of regions. It’s said to launch in the US, Korea and China. However, the Odyssey Z Gaming Notebook would be available in Q3 2018 rather than its April 2018 release in China and Korea.
