Nokia’s has made an excellent comeback after the company was re-acquired by the folks over at Alcatel. Every single release from Nokia ever since its acquisition has been driving a ton of positive feedback for the company and its about time the company starts to move forward with updated successors.
Recently, leaks of Nokia’s 5.1 Plus renders have made their way online showcasing what the successor to the Nokia 5 may look like. Renders courtesy of @Onleaks and Tigermobiles, have revealed quite a few changes to the design of Nokia’s lineup of devices.
The most notable changes we could pickup from the leak are the much curved body of the device as well as the iPhone X-like notch on top of the device.
Since the Nokia 5 is was a budget-oriented device, the Nokia 5.1 Plus should come with pretty respectable internals as well. Regarding the SoC, we should be looking at Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636, 710 or anything similar on Mediatek’s side. Regarding RAM, I’m personally pretty confident that we’ll have 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Regarding pricing, I won’t comment on that personally. However, it would be obvious to speculate that the device’s price would be in-line with the Nokia 5’s price.
