Razer Announces The Kraken Tournament Edition – Features THX Spatial Audio & 50mm Drivers

Razer has been a leader in the PC peripherals market for more than a while now. Their logo requires no introduction even more many non-techies. Over the years, Razer has brought a ton of peripherals to the PC gaming market and has since then created some of the very best mice, headsets and keyboards in the industry.

Razer’s Kraken headset has become a staple in the PC peripheral market. Today, the folks over at Razer have announced a newly updated Kraken, dubbed as the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition.

As usual, the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition comes with that classy green shell as well as those classy cushions for that signature comfort. Alongside that, the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition comes with THX Spatial Audio and a controller that hopes to improve audio quality and allow you to tweak the bass on the drivers on the fly. As usual and highlighted by Razer themselves, the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition comes with an emphasis on bass.

Thanks to the 3.5mm jack found on the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition, the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition should be compatible with all sorts of gaming consoles. Whether that’s the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC or even the Nintendo Switch.

Regarding pricing and availability, the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition is set to retail for about US $99 MSRP and would be available later this month for purchase.
