The next installment to enter the Tomb Raider franchise is about to hit shelves next week. As the game would be available on the Xbox One family of consoles, Microsoft has detailed the enhancements that are coming along with the Shadow Of The Tomb Raider for the Xbox One X in a recent trailer showcase.
Microsoft has been growing its Xbox One X enhanced title count for quite a while now. Titles that have been enhanced specifically for the Xbox One X get the Xbox One X enhanced badge indicating its improvements for the Xbox One X, typically 4K and HDR improvements.
Now that the Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is nearing its release, Microsoft has just detailed the improvements Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is coming with. Improvements include support for native 4K rendering as well as HDR 10 support for the incredible color reproduction. In addition to that, you have your usual Dolby Atmos 3D audio support for some excellent sound quality and enhanced textures.
Just like previous titles, the Shadow Of The Tomb Raider would allow players to prioritize 4K over frame rates or prioritize frame rates over 4K as you will.
At least it’s nice to know that Shadow Of The Tomb Raider runs at native 4K.
