With E3 2019 underway, Samsung has taken the chance to launch their new monitor, the C27RG5, amidst all the buzz. The newly introduced monitor is yet again being targeted at competitive and enthusiastic PC gamers.
The Samsung C27RG5 is a 27-inch monitor featuring a 16:9 1920 x 1080 monitor featuring a 240Hz refresh rate. The monitor, like most other monitors in this category, would be utilizing a VA panel which is promising to deliver 4ms GTG response times along with 300cd/㎡. Furthermore, the monitor is also said to take advantage of G-Sync if you happen to own any modern Nvidia GPU and would come with a 1500R curvature for folks who really care about immersion.
Regarding I/O, it’s your average setup. With the C27RG5, you’re looking at a single DisplayPort 1.2 port, up to two HDMI 2.0 ports, as well as a headphone jack for folks who have adapted to plugging in their headphones into their monitors.
Samsung revealed that the monitor would be coming in Mid-July and would be retailing for under $400 which is more than impressive for a curved 240Hz monitor.
