It seems like Vivo has begun brewing yet another device to enter their IQOO series of devices. Their new flagship, allegedly dubbed as the IQOO 5, has begun making its rounds on Geekbench revealing what seems to be yet another beastly gaming flagship from the sub-brand.
Based off the details we could extract from the leak, the Vivo IQOO 5 seems to be featuring what seems to be yet another Snapdragon 865+ SoC, 12GB of memory, at least on the specific variant that’s smiling for the internet right here. Furthermore, the device seems to be running on Android 10 out of the box and managed to score 4293 and 13495 in the single-core and multi-core department, respectively.

What’s odd about the leak is that the device managed to score considerably higher than most flagships featuring the same processor. Pricing definitely seems to be a major concern this year and it would be interesting to see how Vivo prices the device amongst the stiff competition, especially with the inclusion of the much expensive 5G modem on flagships this year.
Flagships like the Asus ROG Phone 3 and the OnePlus 8 Pro are two of the biggest competitors to the IQOO 5. With the leaks coming in, it seems like the release of the IQOO 5 may be a couple of week away from now. With the competition underway, we could expect the IQOO 5 to retail for around US $649.
