Nova will be the next superhero to join Marvel Champions: The Card Game. This morning, Fantasy Flight Games unveiled the Nova Hero Pack, which will include fresh cards for Sam Alexander as well as his superhero persona, Nova in their Marvel Champions card game.
“Wild” resources, which Nova may develop and utilize in a short period, will be part of the hero deck. The Supernova Helmet, which is unique to Nova, creates one wild resource each round, which may be utilized to activate event cards within his deck without surrendering any more cards.
With the addition of Ms. Marvel as an ally in the new Nova deck, players will be able to re-use previously played event cards.

When Armadillo enters the game, players will have to deal with a villain that can add an endless number of “Tough” status cards, making him a top priority foe to take down.
‘Sinister Motives,’ a collection dedicated to Spider-most Man’s infamous enemies, was released not long ago. Along with Miles Morales & Ghost-Spider, the game introduces Venom, Doctor Octopus, Mysterio as well as numerous more new antagonists.
Who is Nova?
Nova (Richard Rider), a Marvel Comics superhero, is a fictional character in American comic books. Throughout his life, the character has alternated between being the focus of his show and serving as a supporting player in larger ensemble works like The New Warriors. To join the intergalactic police agency called the Nova Corps, he was given greater strength, flying, and resilience to harm, among other powers.
Marv Wolfman, in the third issue of his fanzine Super Adventures, first introduced the character in 1966. Denteen (known as The Star at the time) was an extraterrestrial scientist who discovered a spacecraft holding tablets that gave him a new superhuman strength every 5 minutes.
Wolfman & writer Len Wein redesigned the character as Kraken Roo, a prisoner who transforms into the hero Black Nova in issue #6. John Romita Sr., writing for Marvel Comics, reworked the character’s clothing and wrote a new origin narrative for Nova years later.
Expect additional Spider-Man-related characters to be introduced shortly since Marvel Champions often publishes Hero Packs which have some connection to boxed sets.
