The video begins with a voiced Mega Man greeting the player. EXE in a 3D menu, which is a special title select screen where players can choose which game they want to play from the collection. The first three games gameplay snippets are then shown. This menu allows players to change their control settings, access a special art gallery, and listen to songs from the series’ history.
The video also shows the various ways fans can view the game, with filters that can be turned on and off Mega Man Battle Network Legacy at any time to smooth out the game’s rougher edges or give its sprites a more pixelated look. This is a carryover feature from Mega Man X Legacy Collection. The size of the game screen can also be adjusted, allowing players to fill their screen with the entire game or keep it small, with the borders filled in with Mega Man Battle Network art.
