A statement from Ubisoft on Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope states, Cursa, a strange and terrible creature hunts seeking energy to pursue its sinister plans, plunging the galaxy into turmoil.It is determined to swallow all the energy of the Sparks —uncanny creatures created by the merging of Lumas and Rabbids —and destroy everyone who stands in its path, twisting the planets with its malevolent power.
Mario and his companions join the Rabbids heroes on a trip across enigmatic and constantly surprising planets in an effort to restore order to the cosmos and preserve the Sparks.
“Cursa, a mysterious and malevolent entity seeks out energy to further its nefarious plans, plunging the galaxy into chaos,” an official description of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope from Ubisoft reads. “Twisting the planets with its evil influence, it’s determined to consume all the energy of the Sparks, uncanny creatures formed by the fusion of Lumas and Rabbids, and destroy all who stand in its way.
To bring order back to the galaxy and save the Sparks, Mario, and friends team up with Rabbids heroes in a journey through mysterious and ever-surprising planets.”
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, which will be available for the Nintendo Switch on October 20th, was mentioned above. The new game is a sequel to Ubisoft’s earlier Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle game.
