Not gratified with the sparse interior of Cyberpunk 2077’s Afterlife nightclub, an admirer of the divisive RPG has freed a mod that gives the gritty watering hole a facelift while too adding in new functionality. Creator CD Projekt Red recently settled a $1.85 million lawsuit filed by Cyberpunk 2077 depositors following the game’s disastrous launch, which saw the game arrive in a carefully broken state for many players.

Originally publicized with the first Cyberpunk 2077 teaser trailer back in January 2013, CD Projekt Red’s futuristic RPG was probable by many to be a massive leap forward for the genre following the dangerous and commercial success of the developer’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Just as CD Projekt Red has free numerous tweaks and improvements to the game following its launch, original players have produced mods for Cyberpunk 2077 that take added new characters, skills, and functionality to the game.

In a move sure to be welcomed by players who found the game’s dark and discolored Afterlife nightclub to be a bit too sparse, the Enhanced Afterlife mod for Cyberpunk 2077 sent to Nexus Mods by user Pringles001 adds new props, a new-fangled layout, and new functionality to the neon-lit locale. Well-known to many players for containing several of the game’s story missions, Afterlife’s updated advent give it a more lifelike and lived-in look.

To make Afterlife both more visually tempting and functional for Cyberpunk 2077 players, the Enhanced Afterlife mod brands several changes to the digital nightclub. The first revision to the gritty meeting spot is the addition of numerous items and other visual enhancements to Rogue’s corner, with newly added florae and props giving the area some visual flair. The mod also brands it easier for players to grab grub and guns on the go, adding working marketing machines for snacks and a fully functional armory, though the armory requires the installation of extra mods to work.
