During her entrance on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Shakira undid up about her split from the former soccer performer Gerard Pique. She shared that she has had a “very rough year after [her] separation.” Talking nearby the reaction her song has been receiving, the singer thought that it all feels like a dream to her and is “just in the making for someone to pinch me and backwash me up from this dream.”
She also public that Session #53 has been a healthy way to channel her sentiments amid her split. The singer also common that the song has become “an anthem for so many women” for many women have done the same things as she has. Shakira further added that while she wrote the song for herself, it has become a “forum” for many womenfolk out there as well.
