Microsoft’s Xbox One S has been selling like hot cakes recently, with the recent months topping PS4 sales. Bringing a newer, slimmer/smaller design, HDR, 4K content and a brickless power input.
While we did believe that the Xbox One couldn’t go lower than $250, Amazon is currently retailing the original Xbox One for $229 for the “Name Your Game Bundle” allowing you to choose one of four games with the console.
Retailing for $229 it is quite a low price, but considering what you’re missing if you were to get the Xbox One S, it really depends on your perspective on this deal.
The Xbox One S starts from $299 for the 500GB model and with a few consoles coming bundled with a game, we are pretty sure that most people would opt for the newer, sleeker and much feature-rich Xbox One S even with such price drops and that is also what we would recommend if you wanted an Xbox in the first place.
