BlackBerry has been trying to stay above the water. Ever since they released the Priv, the now re-acquired company is now trying to bring Blackberry back to life. The Blackberry Priv made its first Android debut back in late 2015. Since then, the parent company TCL seems to be working on a few Blackberry devices since then.
The BlackBerry Key2 features Blackberry’s signature physical keyboard again. The device is said to be released on the 7th of June based off of what Blackberry’s official teaser mentions. There’s also a dual camera setup that seems to show that TCL want this device to keep up with the trends. Also, the reveal showcases what seems to be very well built with premium materials. There’s also an excellent patterned back to showcase some flair.
Since Blackberry hasn’t actually showed off the device in its entirety, renders have appeared showcasing that the device actually looks like. Impressive stuff indeed.
Since the KeyOne wasn’t actually a flagship beast in the first place, we could expect the BlackBerry Key2 to pack some midrange specs which means that we could expect something along the lines of a Snapdragon 625, 636 or 710 SoC paired with upto 4 Gigabytes of RAM.
Regarding pricing, there’s no news yet. However, we’re looking forward to the phone’s launch to see what the Blackberry team actually has in store for this launch.
