Smartwatches have come a long way, from the very first apple watch to the later Motorola and Samsung smartwatches. With Apple marketing as well as advertising in Asian more and more. They have shipped more than quarter of a million units overall and these numbers are expected to grow more as time passes by.
Based on the statistics it is clear to say that Apple will soon be dominating the Asian smartwatch market sooner than you think. With every other tech enthusiast leaning towards apple instead of the other choices due to its unique design and features.
While there are a lot more options to choose from than last year, Apple is still climbing up the ladder which is uncommon given that more affordable and almost as good watches are also available. Plus there is always the “non techy” character who just has a sweet spot for watches. Apple obviously have advertised themselves smartly around the globe and hence every other guy is aware of their products. Apple watch sales are also dependent on the number of iPhone users, their relation is directly proportional due to it’s only compatibility with the iPhone.
All in all there is a long way to go and for smartwatch market to mature. It all comes down to personal preference.
