With the announcement of the OnePlus 6T, loyal users from the OnePlus community have finally come to get the news and are anxious about OnePlus’s recent decisions regarding the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature OnePlus had been using to taunt its rivals for quite a while now. OnePlus’s Carl Pei backed the decision by claiming that the move was deliberately done to increase the battery capacity on the OnePlus 6T rather than just copying Apple’s “courage”. If so, we’d be intrigued to see how much much of an increase in battery capacity we’re about to see with the announcement of the OnePlus 6T.

The OnePlus 6 is said to pack a much smaller waterdrop-sized notch up front and would likely come with a much more refined design excluding major hardware revamps. In addition to that, the OnePlus 6T is also poised to pack an under-display fingerprint sensor, something that we are intrigued to find out soon.
The OnePlus 6T is set to be revealed in October alongside a hoard of seven other devices from a number of manufacturers. Throughout October, OnePlus is expected to showcase the OnePlus 6T amidst a number of keynotes featuring the likes of the Razer Phone 2, Google Pixel 3/Pixel 3 XL, Xiaomi Mi MiX 3 and a number of other devices. Whatever the case may be, OnePlus better have some decent improvements this time around with the OnePlus 6T.
