Apex Legends Flies Past 50 Million Active Players – Fortnite In Trouble

Apex Legends a brand new title released just last month by EA has to be the most active video game right now. The title managed to provide a unique and fun Battle Royale experience with a more fast paced and action packed theme going on.

The game immediately became a sensation with most of the streamers shifting from Fortnite despite it having a brand new season. With it came a huge player base which keeps on growing. Apex Legends has reportedly crossed over 50 million active players in just a matter of 30 days. One thing pretty weird about the game is the fact how it gained such traction in a Battle Royale genre where competition is pitched in hard. Most the action games have had some sort of Battle Royale mode to entertain players but didn’t quite stick.

The game seems to be a mix of Battlefield and PUBG, in fact, the mechanics seem unreal with a fun run and gun competitive experience. With more and more content constantly added to the title, it seems very achievable for the game to actually fly past Fortnite and PUBG. The game itself seems to gain more traction than any other thanks to all the streamers switching to it. Having someone’s streamer play a certain game changes its preception dramatically and with a title having the caliber of Apex Legends, we could expect it to make it to the international stage.
